About our founder

With a background in educational leadership, Angela Beal Bradley has over twelve years of experience teaching at private institutions and publicly funded independent charter schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ultimately, she hopes to help children achieve academic success by establishing and developing an educational institution.

About Nia Imani Academy

  • Nia Imani Academy was founded in El Sobrante, California by Angela Beal Bradley in 2008.

  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our vision is to become a premier institution across the United States.

  • As a nonprofit educational program, our goal is to prepare students in becoming academic scholars and visionary leaders that are capable of supporting families, contributing to communities, and profoundly changing the world.

  • We believe in learning from the best, and our approach is to study and emulate innovative leaders who positively contributed to our society.

The academy provides tutoring services for kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12).

We challenge our students and help them achieve mastery in difficult subjects. Moreover, we train them to take ownership of their education by setting goals and developing study habits that promote learning success.
